If you took up Hertz’ offer to become an instant Velocity points millionaire, there was a chance you’d end up travelling to lesser-known destinations.

To promote the campaign, ad agency DDB Melbourne came up with this concept of using obscure places with the same name as a famous one.

We created a classic Americana road sign in CG that welcomed visitors to Paris… Texas. We lit and camera matched it to a photographic backplate of the arid Texan landscape. Limehouse did the retouching and final colour grade.
