Brand and creative agency Totem asked Forge & Morrow to create a super high-resolution piece of artwork to promote their client SAXO’s foreign exchange trading platform.

Totem had already come up with the concept - a chess board in the style of classic ‘candle stick’ trading charts, and chess pieces to represent different trading currencies. We brought it all to life, creating the board in a mix of timbers to give the image some warmth. We formed the pieces as though they were diecast metal with intricate detail to hold up at massive resolution.
