Curiosity

Qantas built a real life robotic replica of the Mars Rover for a TV commercial. When it came to shoot the stills, though, they realised that the replica had been disassembled and packed away in a storage container.

Forge & Morrow’s job was to bring it back to life in CG. We built a photorealistic 3D version and lit and rendered it in a series of backplates shot on location. The project was produced in collaboration with retouching studio Limehouse who did the retouching.
